Associate Structural Engineer

Bryntesen Engineering is a leading structural design and engineering firm known for our commitment to excellence, innovation, and delivering high-quality projects for over forty years. Our team of professionals works collaboratively to bring visionary designs to life, and we are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join the structural engineering team. This position provides great responsibility and flexibility with a focus on structural design work and. The ideal candidate for this role is an ambitious self-starter who’s eager to grow within the firm. In addition to technical skillsets, you will be responsible for client relations and project development.


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 2+ years in structural design, drafting, and detailing for a wide range of project types
  • Expertise working onsite and conforming to drawings, specifications, and plans
  • Familiarity with local code requirements and associated governing agencies
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with colleagues and clients of all levels
  • Excellent planning, organization, and detail orientation skills
  • Experience working with contractors, time frame management, and industry applied methods Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, StudPro and RISA3D, or similar FEA software
